Coming into this world, we touch people all the time, and every touch can be pivotal. It brings either pain and trauma or healing and love. each of us is faced with pain. For some, this is violence, for others - indifference, tyranny, rage, or lack of reciprocity.
All these dark spots, like paint, covers our souls and bodies. Traumas, both physical and emotional, leaves an imprint. Sometimes it is so encapsulating that you cannot see a person behind it.
The purpose of our performance is to reveal the phenomenon of trauma and to remind us about the most important human right - the right to choose, hurt or embolden. The choice to remain a victim or to become a creator.
Pain can both take away and give the energy; and from its blackness, from its depths, it can become the fertile soil for new ideas, actions - for our flowers.
There is enough power, enough Divine light, in you and me, to sprout flowers from your very own hurt. Only you can choose whether to see a black hole in it and feed it with pity, or to become a creator and grow gardens.
Today you can become a part of this performance either by applying the black paint of the trauma onto the performer's vulnerable body, or by using the healing flowers as a band aid.

This performance is born from the history of each of us. A history of pain, a history of trauma, fear of loss and violence. But it is also a story of victory, forgiveness, healing, love and lust for life.

| Anastasiia Sibiriakova I'm an artist from Ukraine, an art therapist, a conductive of spiritual practices. I am a person who loves aesthetics. My journey as an artist began at an early age. My mother is an artist, she taught me everything related to colors, beauty and self-expression. I spent my early years at an art school in the Crimea, and later at an art college. I cannot imagine my life without art. I paint murals on walls and canvases. I paint with acrylics and watercolors, and sometimes it seems to me that God himself speaks to me through art. I know for sure that art heals and unites people, it is a language that everyone understands. These are the vibrations of love, creativity and peace. |
